“Cancer is a diagnosis that affects the entire family. Over a 5-year stretch, I lost three very close family members to cancer. That was a very difficult time, but throughout it, I witnessed how every member of the oncology team left such a big impact on our lives. Working in oncology allows me to not only be a healthcare provider and help others but to form strong bonds with each of my patients. I practice with compassion and empathy, to treat each one of my patients as I would my own family. In fact, what I find most fulfilling about oncology care is the relationships I form. They put their trust in us. So I’m dedicated to earning it.”
