"I’ve always felt that the doctor-patient relationship is especially unique in the field of oncology. During some of the hardest moments in someone’s life, my goal is to guide, advocate and work with the patient and their family to provide the best possible outcome. I always strive to deliver the highest quality medical care, with a focus on kindness, compassion, and collaboration."

Patient Reviews

  • "No long wait to get taken. Everyone very caring and efficient. My only complaint is the terrible location. Hate itself! None of the parking garages seem to be available. Would have to walk many blocks in Bayonne to take Light rail."

  • "Wonderful doctor! Dr. Liu filled in for Dr. Patel and saw me as a patient when I had questions during my iron infusion. She was extremely kind, listened to my concerns, and treated me as if she knew me well. Great experience and completely compassionate. This office is lucky to have her!"

  • "The best Doctor that I have meet in a very long time. She's Pleasant to talk to. She listened to everything I had to say. When she talks, she talks to your Emotions, understanding your feelings and opinions. Not down to you because she's the doctor with the Prescription pad. I learned that she is willing to help, and Analyze what you may be going through. She asked real questions to you. My past doctors making Unassumption with no Knowledge to what Im going through. I can work with her because I don't feel like she's going to push me off to Another specialist Unless I want to. Thank again Doc."

  • "Dr. Liu is the best! Soft spoken, takes her time and goes over everything and simplerfies everything so you could understand! She put you at easy with her smile and how she delivers her explanations, especially when you're waiting with fearful for worst to come. Thank GOD that wasn't my scenario! The office girls where great my only problem was trying to find the place cause its near the light rail and the over cover to the station is large and it blocks the sign! My GPS kept telling me I'm here but couldn't see the sign! No parking and hard to find one and the prices to park are ridiculous! And for that reason only, I probable will not be going back to this Astera office! Hope Dr Liu has another office which I could go to, cause I really liked her!!!!!!!!!"
