The doctors, advanced practice providers, nurses and all support team members here at Astera Cancer Care are here for one reason: to help you. This includes helping connect you with community resources and other programs that help reduce the financial impact of your or your loved one’s care.
Actively helping connect cancer patients with economic and other assistance.
At Astera Cancer Care, we understand that cancer complicates life in many ways, including financially. Your income can be affected if you’re unable to work, and medical care can be costly, even with insurance. So we work diligently with you as your financial advocates.
We explore your coverage and payment options and help you understand and access your benefits. We also reach out on your behalf when necessary to help you find and qualify for assistance. There are many foundations, societies and organizations that help cancer patients get by, helping with prescription and copay assistance, transportation needs, grants and more.
When you have cancer, you can’t fight it alone. You need guidance, help, support, assistance, counseling, information and people who listen and whom you can trust. At Astera Cancer Care, we’re not merely your cancer doctors; we’re your cancer care team. We are here to help and support you through your cancer journey in every way possible.
Caring and dedicated to helping meet the needs of New Jersey cancer patients.
As a cancer patient, you or your loved one will have many needs, and Astera Cancer Care understands them and actively helps address them. Our caring staffers are here to discuss your needs with you and assist you in getting them met.
We’ll let you know where you can find specific products, such as wigs or mastectomy bras, and connect with support groups, psychological counseling, nutrition guidance, transportation assistance, and other forms of help.
You can also count on us to help you make informed decisions. Always feel free to ask any question, and expect us to work until it’s answered.
