“I’ve known that I wanted to be an oncologist since I was 10 years old, when my grandmother was diagnosed with cancer, and I met her oncologists. I remember the attention, compassion, emotional support, and care they provided, and the difference it made to get us through the long days of treatment.

“With this always in mind, I strive to provide encompassing care to you that’s not limited to medications, but incorporates interaction with respect, communication, and compassion. I listen to you, and I’m aggressive in organizing your care to ensure that your treatment is as beneficial as possible.”

  • "My mother is Karen K. and this is her son and I am so happy and thankful for Dr. Aysha Khalid. She has been absolutely wonderful, I picked her for my mother on a whim and couldn't be more satisfied. She lost her grandmother to cancer as a child, so the devastation she must have felt so young was extremely painful. She always fights for her patients, she's extremely thorough and my mom has been in quite comfort despite a Stage 3b Lung Cancer diagnosis. I have zero doubts that this woman 100 percent saved my mother's life. I remember thinking that I liked her and I knew she was doing her best, but this wasn't going to be a great outcome. I tried to remind myself, since I might end up upset later and say something I regret out of being hurt. It appears my mother is either beating it, or at least her life is going to be prolonged for a really long time thanks to Dr. Aysha Khalid. I was raised by a single mother, so she means everything to me. I don't really have anyone else. Thank you for changing our lives Dr. Aysha"
