  • "Dr. Khalid was recommended to me by my trusted GP who described her as being extremely knowledgeable and professional. She was right. Dr. Khalid guided me along a painstaking journey to discover the reason for a set of symptoms I had been suffering from for some time, and which no one else had frankly been able to decipher. My GP had confidence that Dr. Khalid would be able to get to the bottom of my issues. It was not easy. Dr. Khalid asked me many questions and listened carefully to what I had to say. She spent a great deal of time with me, gathering as much information as she could. Other than my GP, no other specialist had done this. I have found it to be rare in the current climate of the field of medicine. I know that she must be under pressure to move patients along as all doctors are, but she gives each of us the great gift of her time. What struck me most was Dr. Khalid’s true interest in my case. Luckily, my situation seems to be moving toward a positive outcome, but I know that she will follow whatever remaining steps she needs to take in order to reach a true conclusion. It is clear to me that Dr. Khalid is a born researcher. She has an inquiring mind and is driven to find answers. She could easily have followed a career in research, away from patients, but that is clearly not at the heart of what drives her. In a video on her website, she describes how her grandmother’s cancer journey cemented her decision to become a doctor. I believe that that was the beginning of Dr. Khalid’s commitment to her patients, and I feel so lucky to be one of them."
