Astera Cancer Care is set to make a remarkable impact at this year's American Cancer Society (ACS) Making Strides Breast Cancer Walks. Last year, thanks to your incredible support, we ranked #1 among 225 teams and raised almost $19,000. This year, we're doubling our efforts by participating in not just one, but TWO inspiring walks!
Edison Walk:

Location: Middlesex County College in Edison

Jersey City Walk:
Date: Sunday, October 29th, 2023
Location: Liberty State Park in Jersey City
Registration: 8:00am | Walk Starts: 9:00am
Last year's event was a heartwarming success, and this time, we're adding even more fun for everyone. Join us for pumpkin painting, connect with Astera staff, patients, and their families, and enjoy a wonderful day of community support.

We'll provide Astera Cancer Care t-shirts for all participants, and you're welcome to bring your pink accessories to show your support. Your involvement helps us stand united in the fight against breast cancer.
Note: American Cancer Society T-shirts can be mailed in advance of the walk to any of our patient survivors who register prior to September 24. When you register, you will need to respond to the ACS confirmation email and enter your information so that the shirt can be mailed to your residence prior to the walk. If survivors register after September 24, they may still be able to get a shirt (no guarantees).

No registration fee is required.
All ages are welcome.
The event is handicap accessible.
Free parking is available.
Restrooms will be provided.
Leashed dogs are allowed (use personal discretion).
Refreshments and snacks will be provided on-site.
The event will proceed rain or shine (unless there is a hurricane).
The routes are approximately 3 miles long, and you're not obligated to walk the entire distance.
