East Brunswick, NJ, August 9, 2021– Astera Cancer Care, an independent and physician-owned multi-specialty community oncology practice serving 12,000 new patients annually in Central New Jersey, is proud to announce Bob Gialanella as their new Vice President of Operations.
Gialanella joins the team from Eastern Dental, where he had operational oversight of 21 practices across New Jersey as their Vice President of Operations. He spearheaded the company’s move to centralize customer support operations and streamline facilities management across the organization.
“Joining Astera Cancer Care is an exciting opportunity to provide my extensive multi-practice operational expertise to this progressive community-based health care model,” said Gialanella. “Astera’s vision will greatly and positively impact our patients, neighbors, and families, and I couldn’t be more excited to begin this journey in what I expect will be a game-changing health care model.”
Previously, Gialanella held a Senior Director of Operations role at Vein Clinics of America, leading daily operations and profit/loss responsibility for 16 practices across the Northeastern United States. He also held a Director of Operations role at DaVita, leading his hospital services dialysis team embedded within 22 hospitals located in the greater Philadelphia region.
