• "My primary care doctor Flores highly recommended Dr Schuman for my oncologist ( Dr Flores always looked out for my best interest) . From the first meeting I had with Dr Schuman his personality and genuine concern for my my cancer care put me at ease I was confident that he was the one that would help me fight this cancer ( I was diagnosed with stage 3 Non Hodgkins Follicular Lymphoma). He took the time and patience to explain to me what it was and the course of treatment he was going to take .he explained how I was going to receive the chemo treatment and the possible side effects I might have. Just by him taking that time put me at ease and lower my anxiety. He walked me to the infusion suite area and introduced me to one of the nurses that was going to administer the medication. Before my treatment I would see Dr Schuman he would examine me and always asked how I was feeling if I had any side effects , pain , discomfort or if I had any questions or concerns. ( That exchange with him put my worries and fear at ease) throughout my treatment he was always the same caring attention always asking how was I going . During my treatment I was has having a lot of pain and body aches he prescribed medication to ease that pain and anxiety, which I must say it made a world of a difference and helped me maintain some type of quality of life .I will be forever great full to Dr Schuman. my treatment started in October 2020 and finished in October 2023 during that whole time I strongly believe he went above and beyond to insure my treatment was a success and that I was never in any discomfort and I got the help and guidance I needed, even after finishing my chemo treatment I still see Dr Schuman for my physical exam which he always ask how I’m feeling and am I still having side effects or body aches or pain / blood work is done and Portal Flush . The best part of having Dr Schuman as my doctor he was always available if I had any questions or concerns. My family and I will always be Thankful for Dr Schuman Support during my treatment and afterwards. Whenever someone ask for a recommendation for a oncologist I always recommend Dr Schuman along with his phone number . Thank You for giving me this opportunity to Honor Dr Schuman."
